We have been to Wal's Plantlands a few times for the nursery and buying of plants, Xaria had been to " The Topiary Cafe" once or twice before in the past but it was a first time for me.

We have been to this cafe before a while back just after the lock downs and were were free to go back to a semi normal life... However we only order a coffee and a scone each for take away as at the time it was pretty busy.

So today we decided to go through and get the big chain stores with cafe's do. Yesterday was Nichols' Good Oil Cafè. We have  "The Warehouse" and "Bunnings" and maybe even "McCafe" once these are done and dusted we can get back to our boutique cafes and today's cafe was Columbus Coffe - Mitre10 Mega.

So today we we decided to go to Nichols' Garden Centre and the Good Oil Cafe. While we have been there a few times in the past it has been a while, so it was decided.

It is Otago Anniversary weekend, so the pickings of open cafes will be slim, but we actually thought about it and knew the Otago Museum will be open and so is the Cafe.

Well today's cafescapade we ended up at the EBB Cafe Dunedin in Filleul Street. It was basically pre-decided that's we we were going, so that was where we went.

Since we were waiting on our first load of firewood to arrive, and we didn't know exactly what time it was going to arrive, we were not sure if we would get time to go "Cafescading" today. All we knew was sometime today. Just before lunch Xaria gets a phone call, saying the delivery will be after 2pm.
