It is Otago Anniversary weekend, so the pickings of open cafes will be slim, but we actually thought about it and knew the Otago Museum will be open and so is the Cafe.

So on that note that is where we decided to go, and this time meeting up with some friends. Quickly finding a park which surprised us. The cafe is just inside the entrance as you walk in the Museum and they checked and scanned our vaccine passport upon entry to the museum.

It was a toss up sausage roll, cheese roll, and scone, and today was Cheese roll, scone and coffee. Our friends ordered bacon and egg pie, and eggs benedict.

There wasn't much of a wait before our scones and coffees arrived and then cheese rolls. The cheese rolls, were good. I am going to say my coffee seemed stronger than other places normally make it... (that doesn't bother me ... coffee stops me from yelling at idiots...)

I asked that our Friend Jane do a write up... and saw her reply on the Face book machine, "It was delicious."

Anyway once we finished we said our usual good catch up and catch yah later's... then Xaria and myself had a quick look around the free part of the Museum, which had been a few years since I last went. Over again we enjoyed it. As Neil said
