So today we decided to go through and get the big chain stores with cafe's do. Yesterday was Nichols' Good Oil Cafè. We have  "The Warehouse" and "Bunnings" and maybe even "McCafe" once these are done and dusted we can get back to our boutique cafes and today's cafe was Columbus Coffe - Mitre10 Mega.

We went earlier than normal and was probably the first customers of the day probably weren't just it seemed like it. We ordered our cheese rolls, and sausage roll for me as well as our standard large flat white and soy flat white.  The price was a little on the higher side but not overly costly. Just seem more expensive than normal. (then again everything is going up)

Our coffees arrived first and to be fair on the cost, the large coffee was a large coffee nearly in a small soup bowl... lol

Cheese Roll and Sausage Roll from Columbus Coffee at Mitre10 Mega

The food arrived smartly and the waiter assumed correctly that the extra sausage roll was for me. Which we had a bit of a laugh at. Overall the staff seem pretty happy and friendly for a Sunday morning.

The cheese rolls I must say... they are up there being on the good list. Cheese and onion roll with melted butter, (I am now doing a Homer Simpson "Uggggghhhh" wipes dribble from chin)... I mean come on... yum! and decent size as well. The sausage roll I will say tasted good but over all average. Coffee size wise for a large coffee was good one of the larger large ciffee's we have had and was pretty good for my taste but we all know can't say too much more than that.

By the time we were finishing up the place was becoming busy and there was already a queue waiting to be served. Which can sometimes be a good sign that it is popular.

Overall pretty good.

Of course Xaria went and had a look in the garden section and I wandered down to the tools section and had a quick look about... didn't buy anything still needed to have a look.
