The Cafe we were going to go to yesterday but swapped days because free parking on Sunday's. Originally when Xaria said this is where we are going I drew up a blank look as I very rarely go into town and don't really know many of the shops by name etc. I know where the Golden Centre is that's about my limit...

Name: Venturi Deli Cafe
Address: Shop6, Golden Centre Mall, 251 George Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016
Website: https://www.facebook.com/venturicafe/

Walking through the mall to get to the cafe we were surprised how busy the Mall was for a Sunday. However the cafe had a few people already.

There was a limited amount of available in the cabinet, but this may simply be due to size of the of the establishment. It is not an overly large cafe, you kind get that in the name with the word Deli. Xaria ordered a cheese rolls and coffee and missed seeing the cheese and onion scones in the back ground, however I just followed suite because I am lazy.

Ventrui Cafe is a corner store in a mall so a lot of foot traffic walking past. But it is in a Mall so I also bet their rent wouldn't be cheap to get that premium foot traffic.

We sat down and noted that all the tables were small and really only for seating two people you would struggle to have four people sitting round them eating a breakfast meal. Though I guess they might allow you to put two tables together.

Our coffees came first followed by the cheese rolls not to long afterwards. I am going to say not a bad coffee and we both commented on the cheese rolls were well toasted, which we find a lot of place don't seem to heat or toast them long enough.

I would have to ask Xaria but believe the price was not to bad either say around $25.00 (I will confirm) However this was most likely because the Cheese rolls were the small size not the larger ones we like to get.

While overall it was good, we have mixed feelings on the cafe atmosphere to it, it was a yes/no/kind of sort of deal. On the one hand would say to friends lets go here for a meet up a feed and good chin wag, probably not. But if you were out and about and decided to get a bite to eat and a coffee sure why not.  Just the table thing with seating for two and they are such small tables etc.  Over all we are probably getting to fussy of this atmosphere of the cafe thing, and most people just want a coffee and quick bite to eat. I think this was because because the layout of the cafe on a corner of a mall. and some of the seating and tables were sort of out in the mall itself.

We would visit again if were were in the mall and wanted a coffee, but it is probably not a place we would go out of our way to get one.
