Tony Lohmeyer was cycling home after work on State Highway 6 when he approached some roadworks.

With a 15 to 20-knot tailwind pushing him along, Lohmeyer realised he was travelling slightly faster than the cars through the restricted section on the way into Blenheim.

Note from Nighthawk.NZ:

"travelling slightly faster than the cars"  so admits he was speeding. The speed limit is not just for cars, it also includes cyclists or any vehicle on the road. Tail wind is no excuse, you have brakes on the bike use them.

"He decided to go inside the road cones," second mistake, sorry but the road cones are there for a reason, your safety and you and you decided to ignore this warning. Stupid is is stupid do.

Sorry but this is your fault no one elses...

A leaker says they are offering information on more than 500 million Facebook users - including phone numbers and other data - virtually for free.

The database appears to be the same set of Facebook-linked telephone numbers that has been circulating in hacker circles since January and whose existence was first reported by tech publication Motherboard, according to Alon Gal, co-founder of Israeli cybercrime intelligence firm Hudson Rock.

When we think of Easter we often think of treats, chocolate eggs and hot cross buns. But when treats become the norm, it can be a problem - a huge problem.

You've heard of type 2 diabetes and obesity. Well, combined they make up a new epidemic, known as 'diabesity' - and New Zealand is facing a worrying tsunami of it.

Article: https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/04/diabesity-the-tidal-wave-of-diabetes-and-obesity-that-could-soon-cost-new-zealand-3-5b-a-year.html

Note from Nighthawk.NZ:

Being prediabetic myself... you have to watch what you eat. It can effect your health in so many bad ways, things you don't realise is linked and or caused by diabetes.

To fight it, it becomes a life-style change, not just a diet to loose some weight, but eating healthily and regular exercise for the rest of your life. That is what a life style change is.
