So it is Easter Friday which basically means there are no Cafes open however we did find one "Nighthawk's Bar & Cafe". We have been to this place many many times, and celebrated many events there from bringing in the New Year to Nighthawk's party's to it being Friday and Nighthawk wanting a bourbon. We also heard a rumour that where there is an event on here that this place can go off with a bang and people always have a good time.

The parking was well pretty tight abysmal, motorcycles behind and cars in front but free, anyhow we wondered on in, which was kind of weird as we had to unlock the door... We were not 100% sure whether it was open or not.

We were not sure on the layout of this place, it just looked like someones a kitchen a dinning room... they did have was a back deck and bar area for warmer days though but we decided to stay the indoors.

We ordered our coffee knowing it wasn't going to be the best out there... and when we say ordered, I mean Xaria just making me a standard instant coffee, white no sugar... but she did have a wide range of other coffee's and plunger coffee available.

The scones and cheese rolls on the other hand, they were freshly made with love and carefully not using the recipe. But still they were yummy.

Coffee & Cheese Rolls

However the hot cross buns were probably just from the super market, apparently Pak N Save, but on the up side to this it was home made quinch and apple jelly to go with them. Unfortunately there were no sausage rolls due to the fact Xaria already knew there was going to be too much food... But that is nothing unusual for her.

Price wise it was interesting considering buying the coffee, bread and cheese to make the scones and cheese rolls... I can not tell you if it was reasonable or not... interesting.

Jane and Neil turned up and order there coffee and scones, as did our friends from up the road Izzy and Bernie, as it turned out it is a surprisingly a busy little cafe bar considering nobody knows about it. Seating was like just siting in someones lounge.

Overall wasn't the best of cafes, wasn't the worst, service could be better... I mean we had to make our own coffee, scones and cheese rolls... on the bright side, the cafe was having afternoon tea at home in your lounge and I will have a cheese roll for afternoon tea as well.
