Disney's 2020 live action remake of Mulan is causing a lot of controversy, leading to a boycott Mulan campaign that is hurting the movie on Disney Plus. Lead actors Liu Yifei and Donnie Yen have both criticized Hong Kong protests and protesters.

And all the controversy surrounding Mulan has lead to a terrible turn out in China, where the movie is being slammed by the critics. Will the Mulan backlash and Mulan boycott hurt Disney and Hollywood's efforts to get into the China market?
