Auckland parents say fears over the measles outbreak have caused them to change their day-to-day habits. 

There have been 778 cases confirmed in Auckland region as of Saturday, with 19 new diagnoses since Friday, the Auckland Regional Public Health Service said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that two New Zealanders have died in a plane crash in the Philippines. 

All nine people on board a small Beechcraft King Air 350 medical evacuation plane were killed when the aircraft crashed into a resort area near Calamba City and exploded in flames, officials said.
