Six ski staff from the Queenstown's Remarkables ski field have contracted measles.
The Southern District District Health Board said eight total new cases of measles were confirmed in the region today and late last night.
Those included two primary school students from the Remarkables Primary School.

It said more than 500 ski staff have been vaccinated over the past few days.
The DHB also says vaccine supplies should be back to normal after a temporary outage on Thursday.
