A Navy sailor sexually violated and indecently assaulted his colleagues while on duty in Canada, a court martial jury has concluded.
The 27-year-old sailor, who has interim name suppression, denied the offences at the hearing held at Devonport Naval Base on Auckland’s North Shore this week.

ACT leader David Seymour says "Helen Clark got it right" by not signing up to the UN Declaration of Indigenous Peoples in 2007, and is now calling for all parties in Parliament to renounce the declaration.
New Zealand was one of only four countries that did not join the declaration when it was established in 2007, though National later signed up in 2010.

A political pundit says overall, the current Labour Government isn't open and transparent - despite portraying itself as being so.

Facebook is starting to warn some users they might have seen "extremist content" on the social media platform, the company said this week.
Screenshots shared on Twitter showed a notice asking "Are you concerned that someone you know is becoming an extremist?" and another that alerted users "you may have been exposed to harmful extremist content recently." Both included links to "get support."
