Newshub can reveal the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) has introduced a raft of new rules for its COVID-19 workforce.
They include a curfew, alcohol restrictions and protective measures to manage risk around how staff interact.
It follows the emergence of the November quarantine cluster, which began when an NZDF worker at the Jet Park Hotel, Auckland's quarantine facility, was infected.

New Zealand is the best country in the world to be in during the coronavirus era, according to a Bloomberg resilience ranking.
Bloomberg's report ranks economies worth more than $200 billion on 10 key metrics, including growth in virus cases, the mortality rate, testing capabilities, vaccine supply agreements, capacity of the local healthcare system, the impact of virus-related restrictions like lockdowns on the economy, and citizens' freedom of movement.

Chinese officials have confirmed that "no further action" will be taken after New Zealand meat packaging tested positive for traces of COVID-19.
Last week officials scrambled to verify reports by Reuters that meat from New Zealand was found with traces of the virus on it.

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) has formed an alliance with professional service companies EY and Beca to help deliver the $2.1 billion regeneration of the Defence estate. NZDF is four years into its 15 year plan to regenerate the Defence estate. The professional services alliance is for five years with options to extend by up to six years.

A soldier based at Linton in Palmerston North has been charged with spying, the Defence Force has confirmed.
The director of Military Prosecutions has laid 17 charges in the Court Martial of New Zealand against the soldier, who has name suppression.

A soldier who led a white nationalist group has been charged with espionage, and is the first person to face an accusation of threatening New Zealand’s security by giving information to another country or foreign organisation.
The Defence Force on Wednesday said the soldier, who has name suppression, would face a court martial on 17 charges including multiple counts of espionage, attempted espionage, accessing a computer system for dishonest purposes, and possessing an objectionable publication.
