New Zealand has topped the world for its response to COVID-19 in a new business report. 

Despite ongoing criticism from the Opposition that the Government isn't fit to handle the economic fallout from the pandemic, Bloomberg Media COVID-19 study, which ranked countries' investment outlook and market crisis management, gave New Zealand a glowing report.

Three countries once opened fire to chase Chinese fishing ships Chinese fishing vessels caught in a human country have repeatedly been accused of violating the exclusive economic zone of another country, with the most recent incident being in Argentina. According to local Argentinian media, the GC-24 Mantilla of the Argentine Coast Guard chased the Hua Xiang 801 of China on suspicion of infringing upon the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

Police are warning landline users about a surge in people being conned out of thousands of dollars by phone scammers.

Three men in Auckland, aged in their 20s and 30s, have been charged in relation to alleged money laundering after an 84-year-old victim lost almost $10,000 after getting a phone call from someone pretending to be from Spark.

More than 100 people have been arrested, 30 guns seized and 1kg of meth discovered in a Waikato drug bust.

The haul also included $350,000 in cash and high value motor vehicles and motorcycles after police executed 40 search warrants across the region.
