Having decided we will go do our Cafescapade a little earlier this week we decided to go to the St Clair Esplanade due to the fact being slightly earlier we hoped we would be able to get a park pretty close and and not have to walk 16 blocks to get there. As it turned out we got on directly across the road.

This time around it was our standard coffees and a cheese roll for Xaria and Sausage roll for me.  I am trying to cut back on how much I eat and just eat a little more healthier.

We decided to sit outside, behind the wind balustrade and it was quiet pleasant sitting in the morning sun. There was more seating and tables on the other-side of the balustrade on the side walk but of course it would be less sheltered.

However I must say since I have lost a bit of weight over the last 18 months, I now have a BB... I have no padding on my bum so I have a bony bum (BB)... lol and I actually found the chairs/stalls uncomfortable to sit on. But to be fair that is just me...

Our coffees arrived and for our tastes coffees were fine. It wasn't too much longer before the cheese roll and sausage roll arrived. The cheese roll a little on the smaller side than many other places. However, it apparently tasted pretty good. Sausage roll on the other hand was of a good size with a small bowl of tomato sauce and was pretty good as well.

Overall, according to Xaria nice cheese roll, service was average and price reasonably expensive, comparatively. While I personally don't know about the price as Xaria paid for that one, however good sausage roll and average coffee. Now I say average coffee as meaning it was okay for our tastes.
