We have been to this cafe before a while back just after the lock downs and were were free to go back to a semi normal life... However we only order a coffee and a scone each for take away as at the time it was pretty busy.
Name: Precinct Food Cafe
Address: 125 Vogel Street, Central Dunedin
Website: https://precinctfood.nz
This time round we went a little earlier than normal... a little too early to be completely honest. So we had time to kill before the place opened. So we decided to shoot around to MCR and pick up Xaria's TriCity which we were planning on to do afterwards.
Riding the TriCity around the block back to "The Precinct Food Cafe" they checked our vaccine passport which is a bit of a waste of time in this time period with the change of mandates.

Checking the options of what to eat, I was going to go with a cheese roll but saw a fly on the cheese rolls... I warned Xaria not to order one... which was a little off putting.
So coffee and sausage roll for me and coffee and scone for Xaria.
We found a seat by a wind with out a view of anything other than an industrial building view. But to be fair the the inside of the cafe is a nice setting.
Coffees arrived first and pretty quick, followed by our bite to eat.
I enjoyed the sausage roll and a small salad on the side, the sauce had a very small hint of a spicy flavour it was good. My coffee was good for my tastes. Xaria enjoyed the her scone and coffee as well.
The only down side was I spotted the fly in the cabinet and to be fair that can happen to any and the best cafes on the market...
