National says Labour has put a nail in the coffin when it comes to the Woodend bypass
The project missed out on funding in yesterday's infrastructure announcement.
Regneration Minister Megan Woods has said the bypass is still in the system.
But National Leader Simon Bridges told Chris Lynch that's not what the NZTA has told Local MP Matt Doocey.
He says that they were told that the projet would be dropped due to a change of priorities.

"The South Island I think is the forgotten island to this Government. You've got the crumbs under the table that actually are left for the dog."
He promised to announce Opposition plans for the South Island later this year.
