Dawn Aerospace hopes to establish a cheap, quick way to transport objects into orbit, and in doing so transform the commercialization of space.

New Zealand exports have been holding up well despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Stats NZ​ says.

Figures for the year to September show the country has had its best goods trade surplus in nearly six years, since 2014 when dairy prices were very high.

A New Zealand citizen who had her passport cancelled has lost a court battle in Wellington. Officials believed the woman - known as "Ms A" was planning to leave the country to join ISIS in 2016. The High Court in Wellington rejected the woman's request for a judical review on the matter.

A Hindu community group is calling for Diwali to be made a public holiday in New Zealand starting from 2022.

The president of Universal Society of Hinduism, Rajan Zed, said that the government needs to revisit its public holiday policies as the country's demography has changed.
