The whistleblower who discovered people's private data could be seen on the Canterbury District Health Board's COVID-19 vaccination booking system says the breach is worse than the Government's letting on.

The Ministry of Health admitted on Saturday more than 700 people's details could have been viewed, including their name, gender, age, and NHI number. But the whistleblower, named Bryce, claims vaccine details could also be messed around with.

The UK is set to announce an enhanced trade deal with Canada, the trade secretary has said, after the two nations ratified a post-Brexit agreement last week.

Speaking at a Conservative Friends of Australia event on Zoom this evening, Liz Truss said the UK was working “very closely” with “like-minded partners” to tackle issues such as China as part of ongoing trade discussions.

One key area in which there is scope for significant advantage to CANZUK integration is foreign policy. However, it comes with three key balances between competing aims that will need to be resolved for any such suggestions of foreign policy unity to work, those being: the need to balance the benefits of acting in unity with the independence of each kingdom; the benefits of deploying force compared to getting stuck in unwinnable situations that cannot be withdrawn from; and the desire to undermine the power of tyrannies in the United Nations whilst keeping a rules-based international order.

Newly released details of proposed bed numbers in the new Dunedin Hospital suggest it could have 91 more beds than the current facility.

The numbers, released by Health Minister Andrew Little in response to written questions by National Dunedin list MP Michael Woodhouse, showed the proposed hospital would have 474 beds, compared with the 383 available at the hospital now.
