A large group of dirt bike riders seen riding around the streets of south Auckland during lockdown has sparked local residents’ concern.
Locals said the bikers have been riding in groups down Great South Rd, Papatoetoe, almost every day since New Zealand entered level 4 lockdown on August 18.

ANALYSIS: The news that the lockdown will continue – another week for Aucklanders and at least four days for everyone else – should not come as a surprise.
