An elderly woman has been taken to hospital and a TVNZ camera operator left "shaken" after they were knocked over in an alarming incident broadcast live on 1 NEWS.

A pub in Bluff is under fire for a controversial sign in its window comparing Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield to Nazis.
