New Zealand will always be "predictable" in its dealings with China.

That's a promise from the Prime Minister who's flatly rejecting the most recent accusations from Beijing, as the dust settles from this week's trans-Tasman leaders' meeting.

China lashed out at the joint Australia - New Zealand statement as "irresponsible" and a "gross interference" in its internal affairs, and as containing "baseless allegations".

Scientists have found clues that the world’s leading Covid-19 vaccines offer lasting protection that could diminish the need for frequent booster shots, but they caution that more research is needed and that virus mutations are still a wild card.

Critical studies are under way, and evidence is mounting that immunity from the mRNA vaccines made by Pfizer and Moderna does not depend exclusively on antibodies that dwindle over time. The body has overlapping layers of protection that offer backup.

The sad little whiney baby should be glad I didn't know about it... I would have mocked it twice as much as others. Heck I mock myself so mocking others is no problem.

Member nations of a Pacific regional trade deal agreed Wednesday to allow the U.K. to begin the process to join, Japan’s economy minister said, in a potential boost for the country’s trade following Brexit.

Yasutoshi Nishimura said the move would strengthen economic ties between the U.K. and Japan, as well as making the zone covered by the deal equal to the EU in terms of economic size. He spoke to reporters after hosting an online meeting of ministers and officials from the 11 countries who make up the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
