A driver escaped injury after crashing their car into Otago Harbour this evening, police say.
The accident happened shortly before 6pm when the driver was heading from Aramoana towards Port Chalmers on Aramoana Rd.
Emergency services at the scene, between Hamilton Bay and Dowling Bay.
The car came to grief on a tight bend in the road between Hamilton Bay and Dowling Bay.
It came to rest upside down in the water, but the driver - the sole occupant of the vehicle - was uninjured and able to extricate themselves before emergency services arrived.
It follows a similar incident in the same area just a few weeks ago.
