We got a big hint today from the PM about how she’s planning to play this election campaign - and that is to play the old ‘fake news’ card.

It’s the old Donald Trump trick right? If you’re under attack from the media or the opponents, just tell the voters they can’t be trusted, none of it’s true.

OPINION: There was a striking synchronicity in the timing of two of the new year's first political pronouncements.

On January 13, Education Minister Chris Hipkins announced that parents would in future be required to give written consent for their children to attend religious instruction classes.

A new Kiwi study has found no matter how efficiently New Zealand produces meat, cutting back is still the best way to fight climate change.

University of Otago researchers looked into the food industry's impact on climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. Senior author Alex MacMillan says they found no evidence that we are being much more sustainable than anyone else.

A new interactive map shows how high sea levels could rise by the year 2050 - and the results are damning.

Independent research group Climate Central published the map on Tuesday. It compares the data of predicted sea rise levels against known land elevations across the world.

I call a bit of BS on this... more scaremongering... local sea levels have not really changed and it would have to rise another metre or so if not more for it to do what they say... they were saying the same thing 30 years ago... the boy that cried wolf.

I am not denying climate change but I am very skeptical how much man has caused and no matter what we do climate will change... I was warmer during the 1930's... just sayin.

What job can I get where I am only productive 2.5 hrs a day... currently my productiveness for the company I work for is on average around 6 hours a day ... I am hired to work for 8, the other 2 would be classed as maintenance or cleaning or other minor jobs but not classed as productive.
