The Government says there is still no direct link between New Zealand meat and traces of coronavirus found in China.
Reuters reported at the weekend coronavirus had been found on frozen beef and tripe and its packaging from New Zealand, Brazil, and Bolivia, as well as on pork from Argentina. On Monday, NZ's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it was working to verify the reports.

A man who provided authorities with a forged police certificate has escaped deportation after arguing his wife has mental health issues.
The 27-year-old, a citizen of Afghanistan, came to New Zealand in December 2015 and married a New Zealand citizen the following month. They now have two young daughters.

Australia's triumph in reining in COVID-19 while infections spiral up in many parts of the world is making the country a "victim of our own success," as Australians overseas want to come home, a cabinet minister said on Sunday.
Australia closed its borders in March to all but citizens and residents, and the government has kept entries capped and put those allowed into the country in a two-week mandatory quarantine.
