Police are investigating reports of intimidation and dangerous driving after a pack of dirt and quad bike riders was filmed roaring through Auckland on Saturday.
A video sent to Newshub shows hundreds of riders, many doing wheelies and riding without helmets.
A police spokesperson told Newshub they were aware of a large group of people riding in the Kohimarama area and along the Northern motorway this afternoon. They added police will take appropriate enforcement action "in due course".
"Police attended and spoke to some of the people involved," they told Newshub.
"Police are very disappointed in the actions and behaviour some of the individuals involved showed today, putting themselves, the public and police at risk."
