Today we decided to go to ... wait where are we going... oh yeah "Fluid Espresso"
Name: Fluid Espresso
Address: 138 Union Street East, Dunedin North, Dunedin 9016

We needed to drop off our voting papers in the Octagon at the drop off area. We then decide just go do the cafe thing called Cafescapade
"Fluid Espresso" is opposite the Polytechnic down in studentville and we decided to go early and to be fair we think the cafe was only just opened. There were a few people there already having coffee.
Xaria said she was peckish and decided a order a savory scone and salmon and egg croissant, I decided after sayin..."ummmm, ahhhhhh, hmmmm okay" in the end it was scone and salmon and egg croissant and our standard coffee's. We then found a seat over by the window.

Our scones came first followed by in a few minutes the salmon and egg croissant. A few minutes later our coffees came. We both enjoyed our savory scones it was nice moist mix and had good flavour and texture... The croissant was pretty good as well.
We both thought the coffee could have been a bit hotter and mine I thought was a bit weak. The cost was up there due to that we got the croissants, scones and coffee it was around $49.00. The staff were friendly enough though Xaria did comment she felt like in a way the staff thinking what are you doing here you are a bit old to be here???
Overall Fluid Espresso did have the cafe feel to it however would we go there to meet up with friends? If I was student in the area, maybe but to be fair in general probably not.
