A US anti-vaxx leader is falsely claiming urine is the antidote to COVID-19.
Self-proclaimed 'vaccine police' Christopher Key took to his Telegram account to urge followers to drink their own urine to cure COVID-19.
"The antidote that we have seen now, and we have tons and tons of research, is urine therapy. OK, and I know to a lot of you this sounds crazy, but guys, God's given us everything we need," Key said in a video on Telegram, the Daily Beast reported.
"Now drink urine!" Key added. "I drink my own urine."
This is not the first time the anti-vaxxer has spread false information online.
The Washington Post reported in August that Key, while filming on a Facebook livestream, told Walmart pharmacists they could be executed for administering COVID-19 vaccines.
Key had recently been released from jail after being charged for trespassing while trying to serve state officials documents that falsely claim the vaccine is a bioweapon, the Daily Beast reported.
According to the Ministry of Health website, all vaccines approved for use in New Zealand have a good safety record and have ongoing safety monitoring.
