Haere rā HMNZS Aotearoa departs Devonport Naval Base to commence her deployment across the ditch to Australia.
COVID-19 conditions and health authority permissions dependent, Aotearoa will be using this opportunity to:
- Build core mariner skills amongst the ship’s company
- Conduct Replenishment at Sea training with our friends from the Royal Australian Navy.
The crew have all been tested for COVID-19 and will be operating with HMNZS Te Kaha in New Zealand waters until they receive a clearance to sail to Australia.
