The Ministry of Health on Saturday reported just one new case of COVID-19 in managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ) and none in the community.
KFC contacts
The ministry said there are 11 'close plus' contacts, who worked at the Botany KFC the same time as the person known as Case L. Testing will take place on Saturday - five days after their potential exposure - and they are expected to be isolating.
"Members of the public who entered the store between 3:30pm Monday February 22 and 12:30am on Tuesday February 23 are close contacts and should be tested today, day five," the ministry said in a statement.
"They are also required to get a test on day 12 and continue to isolate at home for the remainder of the 14-day period (until March 8).
Members of the public who went through the drive-thru between 3:30pm and 12:30am are 'casual plus' contacts, and should stay at home until they're tested.
Papatoetoe High School
Everyone exposed to Case A, with the exception of Case D, have tested negative. So far 1515 'casual plus' contacts have tested negative and three positive.
"We continue to work closely with the school to ensure all staff and students are tested," the ministry said.
The school is due to reopen on March 1. Students and staff won't be allowed back until they've tested negative.
Kmart
Out of 34 staff identified as 'close plus' contacts, 32 so far have tested negative. The others are due to be tested soon.
There are 1762 people who've so far registered as being in the store at the time of potential exposure - all have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days and get tested twice. So far 1680 have tested negative at least once.
"Anyone who has visited any locations of interest at the times specified is advised to contact Healthline," the ministry said.
More testing locations have been set up in Wiri, Otara, Botany, Pakuranga Heights, Balmoral, Henderson, Pakuranga and Northcote - more details can be found here.
