COVID-19 managed isolation and quarantine facilities in our largest cities is an ongoing concern, according to public health expert Michael Baker, who says it opens the door for people who want to escape.

He believes having clear rules around the use of masks will help dampen down the threat of community transmission and avoid another lockdown.

There are three new cases of COVID-19 in New Zealand, the Ministry of Health confirmed on Sunday.

Two of the cases are imported and were detected in managed isolation facilities, and one is linked to Case D, the Auckland woman at the centre of the country's latest COVID-19 scare.

November 5, 2020 – Rocket Lab has today revealed that it will attempt to recover the first stage of its Electron rocket during its next mission, the ‘Return to Sender’ launch, scheduled for lift-off in mid-November. The test will see Rocket Lab attempt to bring Electron’s first stage back to Earth under a parachute system for a controlled water landing before collection by a recovery vessel.
