Situated in the exchange area in the old National Bank ... old BNZ Bank... actually to be fair I just remember a bank being there back in the day and I do actually think it was National Bank... it's my article so National Bank it is... but you are more than welcome to tell me I am wrong  because I most likely am.

We again were lucky to park just across the road, and we didn't have to pay for parking... which is a bonus... as this cafescapade is started to clock up the dollars...

They had a nice selection from the cabinet food and we both got a savory pin wheel. We found a seat out the back in the foyer area and you could see all the old parts of the building and where they new earthquake strengthening as well as a modern glass lift gave it a nice aesthetic.

Our coffees came first which was good because from memory I was thirsty so a coffee was needed. Our savory pin wheels didn't take that long afterwards and they were pretty good. Gooey goodness in the centre...

Where we were sitting it didn't feel like cafe to be fair and honest but this didn't effect the overall experience of our visit and we still enjoyed our visit, but if we were inside the actual cafe area it would probably be a little different and may have that atmosphere. Price was pretty good as was the service being friendly enough. The price as pretty good as was the service and I really enjoyed the pinwheel...
