We tried to go to Taste Nature during the high covid restrictions, and was only order and take away so we put it off, however today we finally go around to giving them another go.

Name: Taste Nature
Address: 131 High Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016
Website: https://www.tastenature.co.nz

We were also meeting our friends there that we meet up with once a month. Finding a car park just up the road from the cafe was nice.

Taste Nature also has a Shop & Deli that also sell a lot of organic products and as well as the cafe. Organic food is food grown the way nature intended – without synthetic pesticides or herbicides, genetic modification, or man-made fertilisers. Organic farming prioritises the long-term health of the soil and the environment, ensuring the land can yield nutritious, sustainable food for years to come.

They are proud to use quality organic roasted beans from a Dunedin Supplier Common Ground Espresso. For takeaway coffee you are encouraged bring your own cup, while they do provide takeaway cups they do not encourage it, therefore they have added a ‘waste’ charge for the use of a takeaway cups. However if you bring your own cup you will get 50c  off the price of your coffee. So this is better for the environment.

They had a good range of food but more to the vegan side of the spectrum but to totally vegan.

I ordered spinach (and something) pattie while Xaria orderd a fancy ...  oh I don't know what it was... but here is a picture... laughing

Xaria's meal with a fancy name...
Nighthawk's Pattie and Lemon Almond cake.

Ken and Liane eventually showed and they ordered the corn fritters and eggs on toast.

Ken's eggs on toast with side salad
Lianne's Corn Fritters and side salad

Xaria enjoyed her... (ok, I must actually ask her what it was she actually ordered) but apparently. Lianne aid she really enjoyed the corn fritters but there was too much side salad and didn't eat it all. As for Kens eggs apparently the eggs were fine but the bread or toast was a bit hard/solid and again too much side salad.

Our coffees were fine but Liannes came out as a normal when she is pretty sure she ordered a large and I don't think she was too impressed with the coffee over all. The was getting up but some odd reason organic food is more expensive.

Well since we met up with friends there that answers that question, over all a bit of a mixed bag.
