Decided on a bit of the spur of the moment to go to The Swan. After going on a scenic route to get there as George Street is still being dug up we got there at 9am on Saturday which coincidentally is when it opens.
Name: The Swan
Address: 23 Bath Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016
Website: https://www.theswan.nz

Great chat with the server and a good range of serve over food so picked out cheese scones which were fantastic and ordered coffees and found a couple of chairs around the gas fire.

Definitely had the cafe feel which isn't always the case when you are early and I could see it being a very popular spot.

The only downsides were that I got the young girl who served us to double check that everything had been rung up as the eftpos was too cheap as she had missed charging for one scone and my coffee was a regular instead of a large so was a bit too strong for me but overall I would put this on a good to go again list and would be great to meet up with mates here.
