After getting my new progressive glasses fitted and set of glasses for sitting in front of the computer... which I am wearing as I type this, we decided to try and go to the cafe we first tried to go to last week... buuuuuttt... guess what? it was closed again and this time we don't really know why.  Any way we decided on Coffee Club.

Name: The Coffee Club
Address: Shop 201A - Meridian Mall, 267-287 George Street, Dunedin 9016
Website: https://thecoffeeclub.co.nz

With a new sight on things and things coming in and out of focus as I get use to the progressive glasses... I was basically saying "weird but cool... but weird"

We walk in and decide on what we want. since they had both Cheese rolls and Sausage Roll for me it was a pretty easy choice. Xaria Cheese Roll and a Spinach something something roll... as well as our normal coffee's.

Finding a seat we by the window looking down on George Street watching every one just doing their thing we definitely had the cafe culture feel to it.

Took a little longer than expected (but we are not talking overly too long... we thing a few minutes), however, everything came out at once including the coffee's not in drips and drabs.

The spread... The Coffee Club

The sausage roll were okay, just your typical sausage and a side of tomato sauce, which to be fair you can't really go wrong with that. I don't believe there were made in house and were possibly bulk made and bought. The Cheese rolls were pretty large and had a fraction of onion and tomato in them which was is a different twist. (There is a drum roll there somewhere tada boom) If anything the cheese rolls could of had a little more cheese in them other than that they were pretty tasty.

Ceese Roll - Coffee Club

The coffee was fine and a decent size for the large over all while the cost was slightly higher up than what we normally pay however two things came to mind, over this "The Coffee Club" is a chain and the location being in the Meridian Mall so they would have slightly higher costs with rent alone than other places.

The service was pretty friendly and overall we enjoyed today's cafescapade.
