The whole idea of the first sin is an absolute contradiction to logic. The story of the innocence of Adam and Eve and them eating of the forbidden fruit creating the first sin is actually nonsensical.

First of all we have a god, a being that is all-knowing and all-powerful, who creates life. So far so good but that’s where it ends if he is all-knowing he already knows that this is going to be a failure and they will sin. So why did he do it in the first place? Why create something you know will fail your test.

He then proceeds to put them in this garden and say you can eat from any tree, except from the tree of life and knowledge and I will put it right here in the middle of this garden so you can see it and be tempted. Which he knows you will and you will sin.

So before they have eaten of the forbidden fruit both Adam and Eve have no knowledge of what is right and what is wrong they are in a pure innocence form. It is not until they have eaten of the fruit of life and knowledge that they gain this knowledge of what is right and what is wrong. They had no idea they were doing wrong.

You can not punish someone for something they did having absolutely no idea that what they did was wrong. They had no understanding of right and wrong until they ate of the fruit.

Now let's add in the actual story of temptation of the Snake/Serpent. Remember god knows the serpent is going to do this so why allow the serpent in the garden the first place.

God says do not eat of the fruit from the tree of like and knowledge for you shall surely die. Well, a few things stand out here due to the fact that Eve did not even know what death was and had no knowledge of this it is a bit of an empty threat, and secondly, bit of a harsh punishment for something she doesn’t understand and or know is wrong, and according to the story she didn’t die?

So did god lie? Who told the truth the serpent or god? The serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

So the god says you will die, serpent says you won’t and you will know the difference between good and evil.

So Eve ate the fruit and gave some to Adam... Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.

The Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” Thought he knew all and saw all? just saying.

And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.” He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

The Lord God said to the serpent;
Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head,and you shall bruise his heel.”

To the woman he said;
I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”

And to Adam he said,
Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.

I am still waiting for them to actually die... so far the serpent was telling the truth and god wasn’t. They now know the difference between right and wrong good and evil and god admits this. They did not die and they lived a long life just not in the garden of Eden and according to the rest of the story longer than I am going to live. Heck I am going to be lucky if I make it to 80... surprised

The other thing who was god talking to when he said "the man has become like one of us" US means there are others in the pantheon.

Getting into Heaven

"Jesus Christ is the son of God and whoever believes in him will have Eternal life in heaven." cool cool...  but let's read Exodus 20:3-5

"Thou shall have no other god before me" ... it does not say Thou shall have no other god before me, oh but my son is ok he is cool..." no it says pretty clearly "no other god before me" it is pretty black and white. Jesus is not god. So it is a pure contradiction.

Which god...

Throughout history there have been around 10,000 different gods, and you are an atheist to 9,999 of them, I just don't believe in that one more god
