Welcome home, HMNZS Canterbury. After four months away and 80,000 hours of refurbishment undertaken in Singapore, HMNZS Canterbury proudly sailed into Waitematā Harbour yesterday after a two-week transit, ready and willing to take on any operation - once the crew get some rest of course!

Canterbury is regularly deployed to the Pacific where she provides sealift support for military exercises and operations including humanitarian aid and disaster relief. She is also a regular visitor to the sub-Antarctic islands where she assists government agencies to conduct resupply missions and important scientific and research work.
