New Zealand’s public military websites appear to be down on Tuesday evening.

The New Zealand Defence Force websites, including its Army, Navy and Air Force websites, were not loading from 5pm on Tuesday.

When trying to load the http://www.nzdf.mil.nz/ website on Google Chrome or Internet Explorer browsers, a 504 Gateway Timeout appeared.

None of the pages were able to load correctly by 9.30pm. It’s not yet known whether this is scheduled maintenance, or if there’s an issue.
