An NH90 helicopter provides air support to the resupply mission on Campbell Island by transferring supplies & people between HMNZS Canterbury & the shore.

Recently our NH90 helicopters and crews from No. 3 Squadron practised working as part of a tri-service task group, operating alongside Royal New Zealand Navy and New Zealand Army personnel on HMNZS Canterbury at Army Bay, Whangaparaoa.
The exercise, Joint Waka, puts our personnel through the experience of continual air, land and sea operations that could be expected during a Humanitarian and Disaster Relief mission.
The ability to seamlessly and efficiently work together is important for our NZ Defence Force to deal with any of the contingencies we may face at home and overseas
